Who

Currently in its 64th season, the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra is a 70-member professional orchestra conducted under the baton of Maestro Stephen Gunzenhauser, Music Director of the Lancaster Symphony for 33 years.

What

Develop a branded identity for the Symphony’s Hollywood Heroes & Villains to convey a more contemporary presentation, that would appeal to movie lovers of all ages.

How

We created series of visual elements with a “movie artwork” aesthetic for the event – an icon, a character, and typeface. The character & icon convey the classic struggle between ‘good vs. evil’ or “dark vs. light” theme presented in many Hollywood blockbusters, while the typeface expresses the contrast between the two.
