Bringing the Fulton's shows to life

Central Pennsylvania’s premier regional theatre and National Historic Landmark combines Broadway caliber musicals, comedies and dramas with the grandeur of ornate Victorian architecture. The Fulton first opened its doors in 1852. Today, 160 years later, this National Historic Landmark Theatre continues to entertain, educate and delight audiences, bringing live theatre, music, and more than 130,000 patrons into downtown Lancaster annually.

Create custom artwork for the Fulton’s 2016 / 2017 Season, bringing the Fulton’s marketing collateral to a level consistent with the Theatre’s tradition of offering high quality productions.

Much like an on-stage production, this project required a whole cast of players, and multiple acts. Our whole team was involved in the process from start to finish, and we incorporated elements of branding, graphic design, marketing strategy, and photography into the finished product.

The result

A beautiful 32 page full color brochure full of custom artwork for each show, which pays homage to the original productions, while still conveying the depth & passion involved in the Fulton’s interpretations.

For the main stage productions, our concept was to focus on a key scene or character from each musical, and use that as a window into the larger story being told. We followed a similar approach with the Ellen Groff Series, as well as the Family Series, allowing the characters to take center stage in the artwork, with a supporting cast of recognizable elements from each.
